داخل آلة التشريط: من الغراء حتى الحافة الجاهزة
بعد قص الألواح، تحتاج كل حافة ظاهرة إلى شريط. وفي المصنع يتم ذلك بآلة تشريط أوتوماتيكية تعطي تشطيبًا لا يمكن للعمل اليدوي مجاراته.
المراحل في مرور واحد
- التسوية المسبقة: تكشط سكينة حافة اللوح لتصبح مستقيمة ونظيفة تمامًا
- التغرية: يوضع غراء حراري بالتساوي على الحافة
- الكبس: تضغط البكرات شريط PVC بإحكام على الغراء
- قص الأطراف: تقصّ مناشير صغيرة الشريط مستويًا عند بداية القطعة ونهايتها
- التشذيب: تزيل السكاكين الزائد من الشريط أعلى اللوح وأسفله
- تدوير الزوايا: تُشكّل الزوايا لتصبح ناعمة الملمس
- الكشط والتلميع: تُنظّف الحافة من خطوط الغراء وتُلمّع
لماذا يدوم التشريط الآلي
يوضع الغراء بالحرارة والضغط الصحيحين على طول الحافة كلها، فلا توجد نقاط ضعيفة تتسرب منها الرطوبة، وهذا مهم جدًا في المطابخ والحمامات.
علامات الحافة الجيدة
مرّر إصبعك عليها؛ فالحافة الجيدة مستوية مع السطح، بلا خط غراء ظاهر، وبلا فراغات، وبزوايا ناعمة.
ما الذي تخبر به المصنع
حدّد في قائمة القص الحواف التي تحتاج إلى تشريط وسماكة الشريط لكل منها، فالحواف الظاهرة تأخذ عادة شريطًا أسمك من الحواف المخفية.

Inside the edge banding machine: from glue to finished edge
After the boards are cut, every visible edge needs a band. In a factory this is done by an automatic edge banding machine, which gives a finish that hand work cannot match.
The stages in one pass
- Pre-milling: a cutter skims the board edge so it is perfectly straight and clean
- Gluing: hot-melt glue is applied evenly to the edge
- Pressing: rollers press the PVC band firmly onto the glue
- End trimming: saws cut the band flush at the front and back of the part
- Flush trimming: cutters remove the extra band above and below the board
- Corner rounding: the corners are shaped so they are smooth to the touch
- Scraping and buffing: the edge is cleaned of glue lines and polished
Why machine banding lasts
The glue is applied at the right temperature and pressure along the whole length, so there are no weak spots where moisture can get in. This is especially important in kitchens and bathrooms.
Signs of a good edge
Run your finger along it. A good edge is flush with the surface, has no visible glue line, no gaps and soft corners.
What to tell your factory
Mark on the cutting list which edges need banding, and the band thickness for each. Visible edges usually get a thicker band than hidden ones.
